Tell us a bit about your creative practice and/or process?

I left my teaching career in 2014 and felt 'lost' for a few years before art saved me. I enthusiastically embrace all mediums and love to dabble in oil, watercolour and acrylic painting, printmaking, life drawing, and my other great passion - photography. I see myself as a jack of all trades but a master of none and loving the ride. I am concentrating on making art my daily practice. It is therapeutic and incredibly fulfilling. In 2018, I completed a Diploma of Visual Arts (TAFE); in 2021, I completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (University of Canberra). I have attended numerous workshops as I have a great love of learning.  I'm a sponge and am always eager to learn and improve.

I believe the artist's role is to remind people of the beauty around them and to inspire them to cherish it.  Mother Nature inspires me every day. I am in awe of the beauty of the natural world. I have thousands of photographs of flowers—they are absolutely delightful decorations provided by nature.

Tell us a bit about any expertise, experience or interests?

I was a primary school teacher, so I have expertise in many fields - educator, behaviour specialist, psychologist, data gatherer, public relations, inspiration, human resources, confidant, etc. You get my drift! I am also a passionate photographer.
