Growing up in The Gap, I have a great love of nature and enjoy being able to access it from my front door. After living in many different parts of the country, I returned to The Gap a few years ago to be closer to family and friends.
A ‘part-time’ creative due to work commitments, I have been building on my skills and establishing a small home practice where I work mainly in ceramics, favouring hand built, functional items and pieces that blend with my garden.
My passion for nature and gardening influences my ceramics practice, both in form and in function. Over the years I have also been a dressmaker, so fabric and stitching influences often appear in my work, as I blend a range of influences into my current work.
